Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors C0G and X7R Multilayer ceramic array capacitors
MLCC arrays consist of two (case size 0405) or four (case sizes 0508 and 0612) capacitors in one housing and are available in the characteristics C0G and X5R/X7R. Arrays are optimal solutions for applications with parallel line layout. Instead of two or four discrete capacitors, only one chip has to be used. So arrays offer space savings on the PCB, cutting the cost and time for placement. 0508 and 0612 are common case sizes, so existing placement equipment can be used. Arrays are suitable for automotive, telecommunication, entertainment electronics and industrial applications.
