Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors EPCOS Worldwide EPCOS worldwide
Heidenheim in Germany is the headquarters of the Capacitors Devision. Aluminum electrolytic capacitors are produced at two EPCOS sites Szombathely in Hungary and Gravata in Brazil. Here, as in Heidenheim, an all-embracing quality management system is operated, guaranteeing product quality and customer satisfaction. All facilities of EPCOS' Capacitors Division are currently certified to ISO 9001 or ISO 9002 and to QS 9000, ISO/TS 16949 or VDA 6.1, a solid basis for the production technology, quality control and manufacture of aluminum electrolytic capacitors. Protection of the environment and efficient use of natural resources are supreme objectives at EPCOS reflected in both production process and the products themselves. The EPCOS environment management system complies with ISO 14001 requirements. An ISO 14001 certificate has been issued (as part of matrix certification). The worldwide certification is planned for the next few years.
