Description
STD8420A is a 420/414-output column driver for large size, TFT-LCD panels using National Semiconductor's point-to-point differential signaling interface (PPDS ). An 8-bit gamma corrected output is achieved using an array of 10bit linear DACs. This scheme supports digital independent RGB gamma and minimizes the required PCB trace routing.
