Slave sensor on ST standard Reference Design Kit (RDK) mouse base used in conjunction with an external microprocessor to aid in the design of optical mice.

Slave mouse, plus cable 5 x VT5366V032 optical mouse sensor 3 x lens/aperture 5 x LED

The development board is mounted on the standard RDK plastic mouse base which holds the VT5366 sensor and optics in the correct position for optimum navigation. The connector has all the lines required (SDA, SCL, Motion, Powerdown and Power) to connect to an external MCU to create a fully functional mouse. The RDK includes the slave mouse, cable, additional sensors, optics and LEDs. The datasheet and user manual are available at http://www.st.com/imaging.

Description
The STV-366-R02 wireless mouse development board has been developed in order to simplify the design of an optical mouse system where the VT5366 sensor is used as a slave device to an external microprocessor. Figure 1.
