Description
STMicroelectronics provides 2 different hardware tools for the STw8009/STw8019 mobile video DENC, the PCB module and the application board. The PCB module is a simple hardware implementation of STw8009/STw8019 on a small sized PCB with its List Of Materiel (LOM). It enables a direct integration of the TV-out function in a development system. The application board is a STw8009/STw8019 system daughter board. It enables access to the whole function of the product (control, power management, software aspects) through its application interfaces. STw8019 is the MacroVision enabled version. Board and module are available in the 2 versions (STw8009 and STw8019).

PCB module Includes a complete hardware solution to display 4:2:2 video on Standard Definition TV set Can be handled as a single device with stamp shape (0.635mm pitch) Application tool ready for quick customer evaluation inside multimedia project Application board Small and easy to connect as a daughter board for evaluation of STw8009 Includes S-Video connector Optional 27MHz oscillator can be installed on bottom side if needed
